Traipsing Down The Avenue

While traipsing down the avenue, 
faces morphed into extroverted crowds 
like aero-view 
flash mobs 
of these 
mediocre streets.

Ladies and gents 
speak 
what they preach, 
words consumed of lies 
and deceit. 

The saddened cheer arises 
from them deep down, 
gulping down salivated nerves, 
the whole town 
a masquerade; 
each one of them impersonates.

Arrogance 
and ignorance between  
strolling partners, 
holding hands, 
pretending to give each damn.

While traipsing down the avenue, 
each one a replicate, 
the clones, they manifest,
no one ever new.
