999 Puzzle Pieces

999 Puzzle Pieces

A Poem by demureminds

The doors are locked

and I’m kept like a criminal,

plagued with faces

that don’t match mine at all,

caged in caging them out

and all I want is to escape

to wonderlands of grace

and beautiful people,

their souls iridescent

just shining at me

and bringing me home

to 999 puzzle pieces

and I just fit in.

A good read. but the line "caging them out" its not clear who you speak of. and if you mean the people you want to escape to then add words to clarify. and a poem this short with such good lines should never be short! you gotta make it a bit longer. too short makes it feel like you left things out. you gotta explode on paper, leave nothing out! good read.
