The Crevices of Stubble

The Crevices of Stubble

A Poem by demureminds

I want to swim

in your skin,

wandering the scuba

crevices of stubble

on your chin,

stroking the ache

of desolate

in your eyes,

bathe in the ebb of flow

of your veins,

watering the roots of fervor

lodged in your head,

so drown me under,

so I can’t float.

last two lines are a real kicker..

just floating.. can seem unbearable to some

but drowning entirely really is much more then the eight required glasses a day..

seriously though.. you so very often add that little twist in your writing like the inside of a wave..

ennnnjoyyeedd.. :)

Thank you (:
Longing to mend another's heart, when you cannot even do the same for yourself. Amazing metaphor.
