Invisible Tangent Lines

Invisible Tangent Lines

A Poem by demureminds

My tears followed

invisible tangent lines

trailed on my cheeks,

from last years waste

tasting of salty sweets,

and as I blink away

the dampness of mist

in the haze of

chilled nights,

they hit the pavement

like hailstones on ice,

belonging to one another;

the torrent of tears

were supposed to flow.
