Irreversible Mistake

Irreversible Mistake

A Poem by Denise
"

big huge giant life lesson learned the hard way

"
My self esteem has dwindled
Faster now it unravels from the spindle
I lose myself in stories straight from my Kindle
Avoiding my reality, my mind is in shambles
Every day, every minute, every second my thoughts ramble
What is left to give, pray for me, light the candles
I have lost control, my life I can't handle
My reputation victim to vandle
My future is like the lottery, nothing but a gamble
Trying to put the mess back together that's been scrambled
Wanting to hit rewind, stop or cancel
Desperately grasping to hold on to what's substantial
Should my flaws and mistakes be set as example
How do I pull myself out of this tangle
The way life is, I'd thought I'd never see it from this angle
A happy ending within reach had once been dangled
But it appears that is lost, no more and mangled

I love this poem I think a lot of us have things we regret but when we know better we do better. I use to feel this way but I realized that my mistakes made me who I am and I love who I've became. This was a great poem.
