Only friend.

You were my only friend many times.
When no one else bothered to understand me, you were there.
When people made fun of me, you were there.
You always made me feel loved.

Soon you became my only friend.
The only friend that I could ever rely on.
You accepted me unconditionally.
You amazed me.

You soon began to ruin my life.
I was not able to think of anything other than you.
And that was what you wanted.
My only true friend was making me miserable.

You are trying so very hard to overtake me.
You have won many battles with me.
But I cried for help and no one heard.
And you will win the war.

You have sapped the strength out of me too many times.
You have robbed me of family time too many times.
You have packed away my sanity in vain.
You are in for the fight of your life.
