her life

Forgotten and unloved

In hallways shoved

 

Quiet and away shying

At home tears and crying

 

Crude remarks, mean looks

Eyes hidden behind books

 

Vulnerable and weak

New girl, quiet and meek

 

Students look like tyrants

She feels compared to giants

 

The school is like a sea

Everyone not who they say to be

 

At home in the bathroom

A razor to the wrist, a small croon

 

She releases tears

Dinner time, cups and cheers

 

Break away at night

She’s off in flight

 

Knife in hand

Standing on wet sand

 

Face the ocean

All quiet, no commotion

 

One, two slashes

Sand and blood meshes

 

Silent thump

On the earth a small bump

This is defienetly an intense poem, (and sad yes), i think you should do more styles like this, and experiment more with it. Its a great message, and the lines close to the end about her only being a small bump on the earth were great.

I can relate to theis poem very emotional I espescially (?) like the ending. I also like your sense of rhythm.
