ice.

ice.

A Poem by Devin Swatman-Stewart
"

Winter?

"
Ice Season creeps closer, covering the earth inevitably
The trees tell of its approach as they flash their warning colors
Mildly dying in the process; so altruistic
The forest creatures know to prepare for the Season
To prepare for the great Sleep, away from the Ice
As to not let It in and stay warm, stay alive
Outside the forest, we wait for the Ice to arrive
Demon whispers can be heard from miles away as they draw nearer
We wait with fire, with passion, with light
The spectors shall not invade us this year
We will be ready and waiting, far from taken off guard
There will be no Sleep for us for we must fight
Waiting for Rebirth to come, preparing for the next Ice
