A Poem by Dhairya Arora
"

psychedelic

"
As I sit on the desk (dim yellow spot light)
With the beat not under control (background score: fast heart beat)
Thinking about the undesired (rapid montages: past)
Brightens the dark space (light switched on all around)
And puppets start to point fingers (plastic costumes)
Fall I, down the chair, in dread (puppets continue to dance, they thump)
Burning desire catches more fire (music picks up pace)
I crawl to run the open land (scorching sun heat)
But it’s the distance I can’t stand (forgive me)
Hate to surrender the right as unite wrong (can I help it?)
Circle around me beautiful misses, on the oasis’s land (Flickering eyes)
Clap with the beat and create sound (360 + headache)
Slams on the table, the Judge’s hammer (bang bang.... bang)
And the puppets start to point fingers (wear the jokers smile)

DAY AFTER TOMORROW

X 3 goes the nonstopper in happiness (tough to understand)
With no fingers, blesses the hand (peace)
After shooting you, he Hip-Hop’s (beats please)
Sniff goes the line….and they sit and laugh (low eye level)
In presence, she jumps out of the window (over cranked)
And flies away to the twinkle land (no comments)
Money pours honey adores (f**k off)

Hate to surrender the right as unite wrong (wear the jokers smile)
But it’s the distance I can’t stand (music picks up pace)
I crawl to run the open land (forgive me)
Burning desire catches more fire (can I help it?)
And the puppets start to point fingers (No Comments)
