Forever Empty

Love is but a game we all play.

The more I think of what you've done,
the more I wish we never had begun.
You pierced a hole right through my heart,
I would never have saw this from the start.

Would have given anything to be with you,
like a puppet you played me through and through.
You tangled with my emotions for too long,
one day you will see your wrong.

Although I can't forgive the choices you've made,
I certainly hope one day you're dismayed.
I still don't know why it happened like this,
my heart is broken with holes like Swiss.

The beautiful facade which you displayed,
will forever remind me that memories fade.
No more of you I do not want,
there is nothing left to flaunt.

Can't believe you did this to me,
forever in love we were meant to be.
Never again will I chant thee's name,
for I am the one to blame.

Ok really? this was so amazing, it had perfect flow, it had emotion, the wording was perfect. I just really love this.

I can feel exactly what is happening in this poem, I can remember people from my past who remind me of this poem.
