SUMMER

SUMMER

A Poem by doreen cyr
"

JUST RELAX AND GO WITH THE FLOW

"

To bask in sweet summer heat,

A cool drink of iced tea to sip.

A veiw of flowers all in bloom,

the refreshing scent of cut grass.

A cool drink of ised tea to sip.

Neighbors busy in there yards.

the refreshing scent of cut grass.

The steady hum of air conditioning.

Neighbors busy in there yards.

Kids playing happily in sprinklers.

The steady hum of air conditioning

Oh this is an amazing day.

Kids playing happily in sprinklers.

Whats that I feel, a leak in the cieling.

Oh this such an amazing day.

a summer of a thousand dreams.

whats that I feel, a leak in the ceiling.

I don't want to wake from this fantasy.

A summer of a thousand dreams.

It is blowing and snowing.

Isn't it wonderful when you can awake from the summer dream and see it really is summer! I always want to hibernate under the covers on a cold winter morn. I enjoyed your repeated lines and their spinning effect.

Yes, I agree, I like the flow of this. I also like the imagery. It really just gives off the feeling of "aah, what a relaxing summer day.." *sigh* =)

Well, I like this. A few grammatical and spelling errors here and there, but the flow is great and the thought itself. Good work.
