Love poem

You asked if my love was true?

You asked if I understood and knew?

but for on fleeting moment,

I am sure my love needs no comment.

 

Now after years together in bliss,

I ask you what you would miss?

If love had not been so true.

Together we are anything but blue.

 

We were meant to be forever,

Our love bringing us together.

My heart is in your hands.

No matter what life demands.

 

but for one fleeting moment of doubt,

I have never had a regret about.

Love like this is meant to be.

Together always you and me.
