The Man in the Park

The Man in the Park

A Poem by dc

That man is a mirror
reflectively passive, and sitting still
beside the park fountain
Doves hop around him
from bread crumb to cracker crumb,
or looking for fallen thoughts- it's hard to tell

and I'm not sure what the difference is.

As he chews a toothpick absentmindedly
I notice he has the whitest teeth I've ever seen

It's extremely unique, I really liked it.
Looking forward to more of your writing.

About
Some days, I begin writing and a poem makes itself known, as if it wrote itself somewhere in the back of my mind and waited for the right time to make it's debut. Other days, I have to work at it, and.. more..
