Some days, I begin writing and a poem makes itself known, as if it wrote itself somewhere in the back of my mind and waited for the right time to make it's debut. Other days, I have to work at it, and tinker with the words a little at a time until they get the right mood in them.

Some of the poems I have posted up here are old - I wrote them when I was younger ( fourteen or so ).
I think of them as archaeological finds worthy of preserving. I'll learn from them, I'll be inspired by them, but I won't alter those old originals.
