ode to a soggy breakfast / I lost my spoon

ode to a soggy breakfast / I lost my spoon

A Poem by dc
"

The unfortunate b*****d child of a Yahoo IM with a friend that may have had the chance to be truly artistic if it had been someone other than me writing it.

"

What shall I do

without you -

as I slouch against the table

missing your smooth metal curves

my cereal sponges wildly

the milk pond is drying up...

oh woeful morning

of lacteal fluid-saturated-flavorless-hoops

you will be the first of many

for I have lost my breakfast spoon

About
Some days, I begin writing and a poem makes itself known, as if it wrote itself somewhere in the back of my mind and waited for the right time to make it's debut. Other days, I have to work at it, and.. more..
