Watching Over You

Watching Over You

A Poem by Doroteja Tia Tolic

Sitting in the dark of my own room
Can't remember the last time i smelled your perfume
You should've been there that night
I've waited under the street light
But you've left me alone in the rain
Why did you cause me pain?
Don't you remember my number?
Did i said something wrong?
I thought we had something strong
Did i made you mad
Now,are you glad
Was i not good enough for you?
I'm not something you can threw
Sorry that i'm not everything you ever wanted
Now i'm haunted
Seeing your face in my mind
Are you really blind
I loved you
Now i've found someone new
I'm glad that you did too
But still i'm waiting for your call
Watching that phone
And sometimes i shed a tear or two
Watching over you

Yet again, you've shown excellence in combining rhyme and common sense. Though our styles of writing are similar, my friendly advice to you is to start writing something a little bit more cheerful. It's worthless to cry over something that's already lost. =)
