Enchanted Rose

Enchanted Rose

A Poem by Paige L. Brooks (Call me Andy)
"

I was watcing Beauty and the Beast and it inspired me to write this...

"

Do not be decevied by appearances.

Beauty is found within.

You may think that a woman or man has to be young..

And new.. to be beautiful.

Beauty is within the eye of the beholder.

A wise person once said, " A beautiful young person is a mistake of nature

and that a beautiful older person is a wonder."

That statement can go with anything and has good sense to it.

For the swittness of a summer brease across hidden land,

Removing all of the things that only seem to be noticed at a first glance.

Uncovering a rose.

Blooming under all that you see on the outside.

You would never have known it was there.

But, with a little love and compasion... tenderness and care...

It can be seen through the eyes of those who do not wish to see

Or can not see.

That beauty that is natural.

The beauty that comes from within.

Like the fast pace of people on city streets

Or even the slow gentle sound of the piano.

Uncovered beauty.

Hidden from the world out of fear, neglect, or self brought pains.

Uncovered and newly discovered.

A rose.
