The Darkness

The Darkness

A Poem by DoubtReality

It seeps through my pores
and crawls through my veins.
Turning my blood blue to black,
bruising my skin and leaving it’s mark.
As I feel it within me, my face turns ashen
and I heave my last breath.
The darkness reigns again.

Wow, great job with this. Not many words but it really makes an impact on the reader. I especially love the line about turning blue blood to black. Really good poem. Keep it up. Xx
