Then those words, they fell like rain,
I felt the lies, inhaled the pain.
Like all the rest, you left the game,
Before we were half done playing.
You never planned on staying.
Just a detour in your stasis.
Love and motivation on a part-time basis.
It's ok you wouldn't save us,
Because it was never you that made us.

Wonderfully written. I could feel the raw emotion through each line. I especiallly love the metaphors in this piece! I love the detail and how you presented the emotion and feelings in this piece.
