"Lie To Me"

"Lie To Me"

A Poem by what-the-frick

5-15-06

My heart,
It bleeds in front of you.
The words you speak echo untrue.
The math adds up, but not to me.
You aren't who you appear to be.
I try to fit the pieces,
To the puzzle in my mind.
They stay ajar and much too far,
For me to try and find.
I cry to you, but you stay still.
So statue and serene.
It kills me now to say your name,
So whisper while I scream.
