"More to My Story"

"More to My Story"

A Poem by what-the-frick

There's more to my story than you
I'm not worth the words that you claim
Adoration traded for disdain
I would never take your last name

There's more to my story than you
My eyes couldn't be open wider
I see you're inept and a liar
Tried to burn but you put out that fire

There's more to my story than you
Your laziness ices the cake
Your devotion couldn't be more fake
What a terrible husband you'd make

There's more to my story than you
My wishes and hopes dissipate
We couldn't be in a worse state
This love has dissolved into hate
