"Dismissed"

"Dismissed"

A Poem by what-the-frick

Glares and snared lip
Wish I could repeat over and over
In your head
Give you no rest
Til you go insane
And you feel the pain
But it won't be enough

Leave scars on your heart
When you try and love another,
They pierce and bleed and sting
Cause you to withdraw
Into a dark, lonely hole

And then our memories will
Replay, leaving you no rest
And you relive every single mistake,
Cruel words, neglect.
Every occasion you ruined,
Every romantic gesture you played dumb
And my hurt will echo in your ears
Until you're deafened
And you discover you can't live without me
Then I'm loving another
Being treated like the queen you saw but refused to partake
And your days will be solemn
And disgusting
Full of hate, loneliness, and failure.
Just.
Like.
You.
