BITTER IS THE TRUTH

BITTER IS THE TRUTH

A Poem by prince digbani
"

Painful memories of words uttered during heated conversation

"
Bitter is the truth, but I have to accept my faith.
Bitter is the truth, but i have to make amends.
Bitter is the truth, Oh! Bitter is the truth.
Bitter were the statements sculpted by my anger.
Bitter were they, when she heard them.
Bitter it was, when she walked the street, head bowed.
Bitter it was, when she was laughed at.
Oh! All these cuz of the bitter statements.
Oh! Bitter it is now, I lay sobbing, thinking.
Bitter the more it became, when I realized my foolishness.
Oh! In bitterness, I'll go with my head bowed and apologize
And let this monster I have become die tonight

I love bitterness, it's lovely really and truly, it is dreadful and terrible, has to happen though should not be intentional, I don't guess otherwise the accusers reap consequences they don't expect and won't appreciate, but it can't be helped we don't know what people are thinking hardly ever unless we have access to that information by various means and presences which we use to communicate,

Recognizing our own cruelty and culpability is a painful and bitter experience. Hopefully, we learn better and grow from the recognition and taking action to make amends. Remember, a sincere apology goes a very long way.
