My Angel

A poem I wrote for my hubby right before we got married

You’re my angel from the sky,
I love to love you a thousand times
You’re my heart, my entire soul
You make me love life so much more.

It’s hard to believe this is our special day,
Even if it weren’t, I’d still love you anyway.
I’ll cherish this moment forever in my heart,
So let the world try to tear us apart.

“Follow your heart” they always say,
Well, you have my heart so lead the way.
Falling gracefully from way up high
I’ll always be able to say that your mine.

Within the depths of my soul,
Where you’ll live forever more.
You are my angel, my entire life
Can’t wait till the day I am your wife.
