Will Wintertime ever end,

In the Ozarks, we have really long hot summers and few people complain, but a nice cold snowy winter freaks out many people. I love winter.

Hmm, I don't know but the lines of this senryu are best understood separately rather than as a whole. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm dull at reviewing deep poems. Haha.

Thanks, Blue, here in the Ozarks, winter has lingered on past its usual point, causing all the summer lovers to freak out about the 'horrible winter' we've had, though it was not nearly as rough as in most other places.

I agree, but many people in the Ozarks think life is horrible if it is less than sweltering hot with air conditioners humming all the time. I love wintertime and snow, but I am a minority in that regard.
