Proofreading Blues

Proofreading Blues

A Poem by Eddie Davis
"

A Senryu of the thoughts upon finishing writing a 620 page book

"

The writing is done,

Before the burden of proof,

I must clear my brain

Writing something of that volume demands a mental rest. I can imagine the Herculean effort behind it. Sometimes what you need most is a time off. Then come back to proofread what you have written. You will see it in a fresher perspective and you will be more able to notice what's off. Asking someone with the gift of proofreading is undeniably a more effective suggestion. It's more...reliable. :)

Good luck!
