of loss you speak
of gain I speak
of changing tides
of oceans crossed
of wisdom
of doubt
of progress hidden to veiled eyes
of clarity in every step you take
of inner strength
of inner peace
or resolution
of evolution
of time passed too fast
of the watched clock stopped
of time moving forward again
of days to come
of lives to touch
of a path to forge

I return to you control of your destiny.... control which was only seemingly relinquished

of friendship
of love

I give to you that which you can carry for eternity
