I saw God crying (Husband's plea)

I saw God crying (Husband's plea)

A Poem by Davis Blake
"

A husband's love, as expressed through this poem.

"

When the life we live is golden,
And He cuts it short,
What else can we do but cry out

In agony.

Life, and Love,
Family, and Harmony,

Such means little

When death reaps your beloved.

I knew the first time I saw her,

Then and ever after,
Where my heart belong,
My love lay,
My heart song.

I saw life flicker before my eyes,
A sudden specter of demise.
If there was ever a moment to pray,
I knew then was is it.

Humbly,

On bended knee

I pray;
God please save her,
Angels protect her,
She's all I care for,
And all that cares for me,
Restore this harmony.

I saw heaven before my eyes,
And I saw angels mourning,
God crying on his throne,
His hands over his eyes,
His tender heart breaking.

Mine starts shaking,
Crying out for help,
For anything.

And I saw angels mourning,
God crying on his throne,
His hands over his eyes,
Tears falling and heart broken,
Letting her go.

Finis.
