A bit more of a song. That precarious feeling one gets when one is falling, but not yet fallen, for what is sure to be danger.

When I Fall Into the Sky

When the pieces fall apart

Could I trust you with my heart?

Falling can mean that

You're gonna get hurt

But I guess we'll figure out just what it's worth.

And when the curtain hits the floor

Would you be up for more?

When all the lights go out

And when the truth comes out your mouth

Will we have a falling-out?

I'm just hoping and praying that

We can work it out.

So when I cry

Would you stand by my side

Would you make it alright?

And when I want to die

Would you catch me when

I pretend I can fly?

When I fall into the sky.

If it's a long day in the life

We'll be okay in time

I can taste the world, it's mine

I know I want more than I should

I just hope everything turns out good

'Cause I can't take any false predictions

Gambling on our fatal addictions

I'm falling for you

Failing you....

So when I cry

Would you stand by my side

Would you make it alright?

And when I want to die

Would you catch me when

I pretend I can fly?

When I fall into the sky.

Taking chances

Never used to mean dances 

With death and destiny

I'm almost secure except for that part of me

That thinks maybe you'd rather be

Happy with someone like her...

You'd take her wit and charm

I'd give a leg and arm

Just to be with you again

After all we've been through...

Just friends?

In the end?

But when I cry
