The Last Kiss

The Last Kiss

A Poem by Liz

Desire like poison surging into my soul.

Oh but to taste your sweet lips-alas, I find myself stymied, paralyzed

as I meander along bereaved

until the sun is vanquished

burning a hole in my eyes

for the last time.
