Like a Good Dream

Like a Good Dream

A Poem by SLOVA
"

One lover who is spiritual believing they will arise to Heaven but their lover is skeptical of whether or not the afterlife exists.

"
You can tell my baby
that I'm coming down the hall
Packed and scripted lately
I want to see it all

Got my sneakers tied over my shoulder
I'm coming at the call
My baby thinks it's over
But I can see it all

They've got bottles in the air
And feathers everywhere
I'm barefoot at the doorway

I'm six feet under the surface
And I'm having me a ball
I wish that you could see it
One day, you and me could have it all

I wish that you'd believe this
One day, you and me could have it all
I'm six feet under the surface
And I'm having me a ball
