Glass Heart

Glass Heart

A Poem by black.butterfly
"

A story of a naked soul

"

Glass Heart

When you invade my mind,

I desperately try to lie, but fail.

I look for a sanctuary I cannot find,

for I am the one you always trail.

My skin is see-through.

I am naked before your eyes.

I am the only thing true

and free of sought-after lies.

Tell me it is all right my lass;

words that will never scatter,

since my heart is that of glass.

Tell me that does not matter.

Really nicely written with good imagery.
It has a lovely flow as well.

Interesting write. But there are a few cliches involved. Other than that, the flow was good... smooth.

Jeez you kill me. You really have a lot of deep natural talent. I was carried through this poem's thoughts on a cloud, with amazing flow, but on the last stanza your rhyme wavered and i fell. That would be the only flaw I see here. Beautiful write. =)-Justin
