A plea to heaven

A plea to heaven

A Poem by black.butterfly
"

poem

"

For the tears we wept
over the regrets we kept
and the sadness we slept
away in the life we left.

White prayers reach to heaven.
Even though the skies are seven
and wings are never given,
please answer our vision.

Here our plea starts.
Angels, save our hearts,
so that our past departs,
for we are the broken parts.

Thus, our light shall never be slimmer,
never a hindered glimmer,
never marching to a different drummer,
until our futures shimmer.
