Poor Bosie Douglas

Poor Bosie Douglas

A Poem by Eponine Roy

Poor little Bosie

Not a person likes you

Those loves that do not speak

Bid a lasting adieu

He did have his heart

Reserved in your name

Drove him to shame

Yes! With your wicked soul

De Profundis to life

A poorer man's wife

His words are immortalized

And you are lost to the world

A much hated man, Bosie

By everyone who dares to pass

Self-denial, carnation rotten

Into the vase, emerald glass

Shards will tear

Leaving you bare

To only forgive

Or not to live

Hated, yes. Devilishly attractive, very yes. ;)

Hee! I liked very much your rhyme scheme. I love how you write about these old fellows. :}
It seems a little scrunched together, but that's my only complaint!

Damn you and your good poetry!!!

LOVE YOU OH SO MUCH.
