Create (A Tribute to Arzel Joy)

A spoken word poem dedicated to fellow writer Arzel Joy.

Destined to create

From the date she was created,

Arzel will not be negated,

Nor will she be emulated!

Are you related 

To these words she composes?

No...

But you absorb through osmosis,

A mind pathway that turns you ferocious,

Until you accept that she's quite

Precocious, and you hear from

These poets, "Of course everyone knows this!"

Yet she's told us her muse,

One whose name you've confused,

Has morphed into a stranger,

Like a mystic form-changer,

A thought that makes souls

Feel like foreign exchangers...

But when her muse is fluoresced,

We see that she has expressed

Her intimate words of the lovers caressed...

And we who write know 

That our feel-

ings

u n d r e s s e d

cre-ate

sense-you-all

pow-er

like we're verbally

SEXED!!

And after...this ecs-

tatic feeling starts... 

to wane,

Arzel, like her fellow poets

Must keep herself sane...

Arzel -

We ask for a dose of

Your verbal cocaine...

So please

Write us a sonnet, 

Villanelle, or quatrain

Because from your poetry

We cannot...

abstain.

I wrote a little tribute to her to but not the whole poem worth, so this tops mine haha.
This was very sweet as as her review says she clearly loved it and is very thankful.
