the call

the call

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

the call

you are guilty of encroachment---

making your move too soon

but your only penalty

will be kisses

under the watchful eye

of a referee moon.

love is the most powerful thing we can know ... its in youthful risk taking that we make our greatest and most fatal moves ... i fully appreciate this ends with kisses ... such a positive note!

This is playful and flirtatious in tone and is just adorably cute. I think that's the kind of penalty I'd be up for anytime.

thank you for your words, Linda Marie.

I like it, it describes how a person's subconscious was able to perceive how love was captured without being able to explain it. Similar to love at first sight.

This seems to be said with a smile Jacob, like the one who made the move too soon wasn't only forgiven, but thanked for doing so.

Hey Lover!

How many kisses will this "Hurry Up" Gal get? I trust this won't interfere with your writing!

Regards,
Al
