a quill's nearness

a quill's nearness

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a quill's nearness

you write words

make me blush,

make my heart gush,

make my pen push

itself flush

with yours.

skin,

akin

wherein

we are one.

thank you, Mr. ian...:)))

playing with words is fun
look for the pun
just let all go
let the words flow
the paper is blank
the rhymes might be rank
but don't give a toss
if your writing is dross
there aren't any rules
just write whatever takes your fancy!

sorry Jacob but your work has inspired me - I did enjoy it!
Thanks,
Alan

Your quill is very skilled, to make a parchment peel.

it's a sexy little number.:)
I believe there are a couple of ways to look at this. A romantic (erotic) viewpoint and from a like-minded viewpoint. The short phrases, rhyming and choppy feel help the effect greatly.

This is one of those writes that you don't have to think about anything, Just enjoy the emotional ride.
I enjoyed it very much. It started on the first words "A quill's nearness" It already set the stage for a Nostalgic, Romantic scene.
I felt like the writer was truly sharing his soft, sensuous private indulgence of that special bond between himself and that special writing friend.
Maybe not many yearn or have had that experience, but I have and it's so beyond what words can describe. It just never works when you try to find it. It just happens.
Ah.....Thanks for the reminder.... Just to talk about that waltz again.. Awe ! Your few words really said it all

Not hard to see the romance in this, "skin, akin wherein we are one." The ultimate unity, marriage?

the poem as the beloved, the poet as the lover - paper skin to a pen's tip - the poet lover becomes one with the beloved poem :)
