Tell Laura, I love her

Tell Laura, I love her

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Tell Laura, I love her

when storms meet for the first time

onlookers become incontinent

unable to hold their wares

inside,

apologize

as they blow away.

This of course reminded me of the teenage tragedy song of 1960 by Ray Peterson. I guess it made me think of the fragility of love and just how easily that which seemed set in stone merely dissipates in a puff of wind. Tragedy told in a brutally short verse for impact Jacob.

Loved this. People apologizing even as their wares blow away. Etiquettes first always. Even in incontinence!
