Angels out for their walk

Angels out for their walk

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Angels out for their walk

synapse

had a lapse of reason

no connection to the reality of

bubble puppies floating on air

Pawing through cloudless firmament

the arc of their bark

and I, with no understanding

standing under the pack

feeling the smack

of their released offerings dropping

on my head plopping

as I run with Jim Brown moves

trying to avoid

the explosions

and the implosion of expletives

forthcoming.

we have guardian angels my friend! Never imagined they all may have bubble puppies .. perhaps to match our own ... seems your protagonist is a bit frightened by it all ... hmmmmmm we all do have to contend with our selves to stand and deliver when Light falls upon us .. I see your guy rebellious, terrified and so angry ... not wanting to begin a frontal assault of his/her expressions .. after all those are Angels up there ;) but hey .. that's me .. an introvert ... could be cloud watching :)))))))))))

Have been hearing a lot of late about cloud shapes and skywatching, so maybe lulled into a false sense of security here with images of dogs float/ swimming through the sky on a day of cloud watching gone terribly wrong, but so plausibly plausible, especially when you have forgotten your broly and have a nice crisp white shirt on.
Or is it perhaps when you were leaving the cafe after an unexpectedly unappetising scan of today's specials? 😊
You never disappoint Jacob with the journeys your words take.

Hello, Jacob! :)
I was thinking how cute floating puppies would be, then the scene went terribly sideways. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the fun read.
