There are so many puzzles in life and often it seems as though a few of the jigsaw pieces are missing. There is no way to truly understand what is written in religious books. We have to sort of park our brains at the door of the church or synagogue and decide to accept it all. Short and to the point here, Jacob. Lydi**

I absolutely love this poem J. The clever wordplay of opening v is display of poet on top of his game. Then your 2nd V shifts the mind to thoughts of how we are inclined to obfuscate our meanings so often in life.
But the closing is divine. How does one read this? so many ways I say. And that is how it should be, a poet shedding light on the path, but not so much as to completely reveal what lies at its end.
Takes far more than the written word to change beliefs. I have to see with my own eyes before I can be swayed. Mysteries are likely to stay mysteries until proven beyond doubt. Your lines always have impact J.

Perhaps, faith needs more than words. A miracle would help better but sadly, they are few and far between. Loved the wordplay and the concluding line that was so power packed. Only you can write like this, my friend.

thanks for your words,

Loved the word play on this one Jacob. This jolts one's brain out of the rut to consider the meaning and by the time it has figured it out there are no more ruts. Good write my friend
Professor.... You speak of a person who is mysterious and puzzling and difficult to understand... whom just may have the opportunity to change the direction of the World. Life can be a Riddle to solve... You give me an Education vicariously... gently, Pat
