to those high-brows, F**K!! well it is a 4 letter word, along with S**T< PISS< MFER (used instead of spelling out the letters); and a whole slew of other words but which may be much "nicer" in meaning and usage... why do people think that poetry should exist only in one way??? or with only nice "clean" words?? or rhyme??
poetry is a form of communication, it is art and a way of expressing emotions, or paint a word picture, but most of all IT SHOULD MAKE YOU FEEL... sometimes it will make you THINK or, CRY, be ANGRY or, ALIVE!!!
Jacob, you have mastered this ART and have made all of us who read your words, think and feel, and sometimes have educated us in forms and methods that make up and make it exciting to live in words themselves... thank you for this...

Clever once again your word play intrigues and entertains me. Even the message is well taken. Some try to impress with large words while others use an expiative. So many metaphors here and so well put together.

I never cease to be amazed at how you form your poetry Jacob. The stuccato structure and the careful word choice that flows from line to line. This one makes me think of the fragility and the pomposity of the poetry world with the elites determining what is good and what is bad poetry, rejecting many. I squirm at what is published as modern poetry, much of which is made up of incomprehensible, fragmented nonsense. It seems the more oblique the more kudos they have.
