the flattered peacock

blushes its colors

from compliments

tries to fly into vanity

but is a grounded bird

except for short distances

its mind can travel.

Peacocks certainly are beautiful and the centre of attention when they have their magnificent feathers on display. The poor hen pales into insignificance by comparison. Never seen one fly though. Slow movers. That spells danger in my book.

Peacocks do love the attention they get from their beautiful feathers tails that help them get tails lol but to their alarm they can not flight long distances even to save their feathers
