upon

a red wheel

barrow

but so much depends

upon the hands that move it

soft, comforting hands, loving hands

offering embrace, a soul soothing hug

rough calloused hands, intimidating hands

promising work and sweat from the brow

no two hands the same

but all hands offering something

in a world glazed with

rain water
