6. Heartfelt Apology

6. Heartfelt Apology

A Chapter by Katelyn Amos

"I'm sorry.” He says. I roll my eyes. I've heard that before.

“No you're not, don't lie to me.” I say shortly, throwing the few garments I have into a suitcase. He walks in front of me, trying to stop me. I sigh.

“I'm leaving, David.”

“I'm sorry. I don't know what I've done to upset you, Jess, but I'm sorry. Please don't leave me Jessica. I can't live without you. You are my life. I love you. I'm sorry.” He pleads. I look into his eyes and set the suitcase down.

“Finally, a heartfelt apology.”
