SPRING

A welcome to Spring...

 

SPRING

In Spring

life blossoms,

bursting

with vernal arrays

of foliage and flora.

Green,

and brilliant colors

everywhere,

moistened by sprinkles

of April rains.

Fruits ripen on vines

 throughout the land,

expansive blue sky,

tufts of white softness

drifting slowly

above and beyond.

Bright rays of light,

the sun is warm

following dampness

and subdued tone

 of winter quiescence.

Promising abundance

for the burgeoning year,

unfolding a rainbow

of hues, scents,

flavors and spice,

her gifts are heralded

as the season begins,

years into decades

over and again.

Man, too,

greets the spring

In body and soul,

heart poised,

eager for ascent

as winter fades

Into bloom.

All is reborn

when spring arrives,

and so it has been

now and evermore,

a rebirth

of nature and spirit

since time

and the ages of earth began.

Wonderful. You've balanced the concrete and the abstract here to paint a stunning picture of the season. The 'finis' is a little presumptuous though, if we're lucky we're sure to have plenty more yet!
