Ch.1 The Prophecy

Ch.1 The Prophecy

A Chapter by evilbunnyfufu29

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a fairy. Her name was Serena, and she lived as a summer fairy in Baiser Glade. Now you may ask what this fairy’s rank is in the fair Glade of Baiser. Well, she was Royal Princess Serena  Rose Klypsa, she is fifteen years of age. In this land there are no lions, tigers, or bears, oh my! There are centaurs, dragons, and nymphs. everything you would expect in a Grimm Fairytale.

Back when Serena was born there was a  war. She lost her father to a battle with the Imps. On that day, Serena’s fate was to be decided for her, set in stone. On that day, a prophecy  was to be started in sixteen years time. On the day of Serena’s birth the Queen was fated to lose another for  Serena’s eyes  were different colors. One of sapphire, the other of gold. As soon as her eyes were seen, everyone knew  that she was  going to have to make a  great sacrifice. Serena’s prophecy reads:

An eye of sapphire, an eye of gold

Untold talents to be foretold.

Not yet claimed, not yet chosen

A kingdom to save or be destroyed.

The one with Magik uncovered, the only one to save.

The eyes and magik tied together.

The talents not yet honed.

The Magik not yet touched.

The only one with a choice.

That prophecy tells how Serena and the mysterious sorcerer will decide if the kingdom will fall to the Imps the day after they turn eighteen. Serena must be taught; the sorcerer found. Fore they are the only ones with a part to play, and a choice to be made.
