My angel

My angel

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

With visions of valor~~
Journey to the nations scared temples
My hero feel the nominis along the etched ways
When duty calls giving the best of gods plan
Is my solder My gentle man, my son, he says he can

With visions of valor~~
Staidly nearly six feet tall, remarkably still my baby
My son dresses in eagles flair
To gently remind me he is my giant in the world over there
Countless times flashes remain, my son, his heart not detain

With visions of valor~~
Duty, honor, courage he was raised with all
In his life's mission he shared the families call
When it came time to strength, wisdom, he carried all with him

With visions of valor~~

He wears the smile of angels love
When his eyes meet your eyes, seen from above
The hand which placed him in my care
Was to shed his glorious Buddha light everywhere
