Souls calling

Souls calling

A Poem by Deborah Shepard
"

my heart

"
Apricot tantalizing breezes, sheltered our love that nigh
Thus hearing each coconut tree, escaping to the murmuring whiffs
I feel each kiss you shared with me, I shall keep in my treasured box
We shall walk again along the waterfalls drifts of time

Your walk in the mist moonlight, near the pineapple coves
You held me close to the dream
Shall each nigh at twilight be our heavens rose
Etch the doorway with orchids I will hold you above

Remembering each year we spend there, has it been forever?
Bowing  in the wisp you still share the secret place within my scared heart
Utopia is with each wave you add the memoires impart
Forever the whispering cliffs will call me back, holding my portrait of you my darling
