Ancient Delusion

The power a belief can hold over you

I am an ancient delusion

I have deceived billions

You cannot see me

You cannot hear me

I exist only in your imagination

I offer the false promise

Of Eternal Life

I will consume your mind

I will consume your heart

And I will dominate your soul

Trust in me

I shall lead you into darkness.

The fear of the Lord

Is not the beginning of wisdom

It is the beginning of insanity

I will give you nothing

I will take from you everything

I am God

I am Delusion

I am King of the Damned
