blazefair

A Poem by Derrek Wesley Steven Gaspard

My face sunbathes

Turning brown against a dull blue and grey sky

The ground throbs white, perspiring smokey mist

An unbelievable month

An unbelievable day

An unbelievable afternoon

But all I can see is sky

All I can feel is cold

Memories from all the days when I almost slipped and fell find friendship with all the times I did

They hold hands

I reminisce

The ninth line is cumbersome, should I revise it?
